Boeing 747
Boeing 747, známe aj pod názvom Jumbo Jet je asi najznámejšie dopravné lietadlo vďaka svojmu tvaru trupu. Doposiaľ to bolo najväčšie používané komerčné lietadlo. Prednedávnom jeho kraľovanie vystriedalo lietadlo spoločnosti Airbus s označením A380.Štvormotorové dvojposchodové lietadlo vyrábané spoločnosťou Boeing Commercial Aircraft je schopné prepraviť 416 až 524 pasažierov.
Do februára 2006 bolo vyrobených až 1430 ks tohto veľmi úspešného modelu. Toto lietadlo je schopné lietať rýchlosťou až 1 041km/h na vzdialenosť 13 446 km. V niektorých prevedeniach je schopné zaletieť vzdialenosť New York - Hong Kong non-stop. Táto vzdialenosť zodpovedá 1/3 vzdialenosti letu okolo celej zeme.
